Welcome to the Round Rock Police Department!

Message from the Chief of Police

"Welcome to the Round Rock Police Department. We look to server our community in ways never before thought possible by pushing the accepted norms. This makes life better for the citizens of Los Santos and for the officers themselves. Through this stand point we hope to "Create excellence through professionalism, family, and accountability". - Timothy R.

The Police Department’s goal is to protect and maintain Round Rocks' high quality of life and prevent crime. The department is responsible for enhancing overall community safety and safeguarding the rights of individuals. The Police Department is organized into specialized units and teams, staffed by both full-time, and volunteer officers to manage calls for service and facilitate problem-solving throughout the community.

The RRPD strives to be regarded in the highest standards as shown through the conduct of our Officers. Whether working with other members from the department, other departments, or civilians, it is our goal to show a positive image to those around us.

It is our goal to be an example amongst departments. In everything we do we strive to be the best we can be. We accomplish this by being receptive to feedback and engaging in continuous development.

The RRPD is more than a place to work. Rather the RRPD is a place to build strong relationships and close bonds. All officers have a voice to any member of the department. With good communication and better relationships, we are all able to move closer to a common goal.

Officers at all levels, from Probationary to Command Staff, are held accountable for their actions. It is the expectation of every officer to do the right thing even when no one is looking. We know that everyone is human and makes mistakes. When we make a mistake, we own them and use them as learning experiences.
